Superman #19 turns on its head that ongoing complaint by detractors of the sm/ww ship that Diana needs Clark to teach her how to be human and how to behave. Meet Diana Prince. She came ALONE to the party. She worked the room ALONE. She stamped her presence on that room, ALONE. She came across as regal, warm, intelligent, funny and honest young woman. She seems pretty comfortable around normal people in a normal situation ( her life isn’t and shouldn’t be about Gods by the way) and can navigate her way without Clark holding her hand. Being Diana Prince simply gives her the chance to have her downtime without the glare of the Paparazzi and be with a guy she likes. Diana is still there under that guise. This is a girl meeting the friends of her new boyfriend. Anyone recalls how nerve racking that can be? But Diana handles this moment so well.
I loved how she was written and hope that she is used respectfully in this narrative and not simply some obstacle to clois drama. That would be the cop out and the undermining of Diana, not her dating Clark.

“her life isn’t and shouldn’t be about Gods by the way” you aren’t talking about Wonder Woman then. Well after Clark...
